The Maranello-based company’s second supercar, introduced 40 years after the debut of its first road car, was a berlinetta infused with racing DNA. Designed by Pininfarina, it was crafted using advanced composite materials, marking a new era for Ferrari.

The F40 delivered exceptional performance, befitting its supercar status. It boasted a top speed of 324 km/h, accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, completed 400 meters in 11.9 seconds, and reached 1000 meters in 20.9 seconds.

Notably, the F40 was the first Ferrari production car to extensively use composite materials in its body panels. The design included just eleven panels, with the front and rear sections formed as large, single units to maximise structural efficiency.
